My Training Goals 2007

"Do something, do anything, but don't do nothing at all."

Eating healthier and strength training are two of my top priorities for 2007. I was diagnosed with Graves disease in 2005 and I lost a lot of muscle overall. I am getting stronger and would like to focus on endurance and strength. We certainly eat more veggies and fruits now, and I buy almost exclusively whole and organic foods. I feel much better since I have changed my grocery shopping habits. Sugar makes me feel really awful, but it is such a temptation for me. I would like to conquer that temptation as well.

Is weight really as important as how you feel? I have asked myself this question a lot. Mainly because my weight is such an issue now that my thyroid is hypo instead of hyper (sigh). My goal is to get some type of control on my weight and keep it from swinging back and forth by ten pounds. My goal is to weigh 125. It's a healthy weight that I feel good at.

Now I just have to get on the bike and ride!
